Below are the questions and answers to our events. Please fill out the contact form if you have additional questions.
Is there a hotel block for this event?
Not at this time. To keep costs low, Infinity Bound Book Services decided not to tie our event to a hotel room block. The event center is connected to a hotel, and Effingham has several lovely options to stay within five miles of the event center.
Why do you allow your authors and vendors to display mature content?
Infinity Bound Book Services is providing the location for the authors and vendors to deliver their goods to you. All content belongs to the author/vendor/attendee of the event and in no way reflects the opinions of Infinity Bound Book Services. With that said, offensive content (including but not limited to: promoting hate, promoting illegal activities, or otherwise illegal behavior) will not be tolerated and will be removed from the event. We will kindly ask the author/vendor to remove the material first. If they are unable to remove the material, they will be asked to leave.
What do you mean by safe space?
Infinity Bound Book Services supports all members of our community. This event is for fun and entertainment. Consent is king and no means no. That goes for anything. No one should feel unsafe in public spaces. Any attendee, author, or vendor, will be removed immediately upon creating an unsafe environment. This is solely at the discretion of Infinity Bound Book Services.
What if there is content against my values?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and values. However, the world is not in a syphon. There may be content that offends you. Provided that content is not breaking any laws or rules, Infinity Bound Book Services does not censor events. All questions about content should be directed to the event organizers.
How are you ADA compliant?
We will have accessible parking and restrooms. We also have designed our event floor to have aisles measuring a minimum of six feet across. Providing access in and around the booths as well. Upon request we will make every effort to accommodate additional needs.
Who needs a ticket?
Children under the age of 5 – Must be accompanied by an adult. No ticket needed. No swag provided.
Children aged 5-17 – Must be accompanied by an adult at all times. May enter during VIP with a General Admission ticket so long as the adult accompanying them has a VIP ticket. General Admission swag will be provided. Any child who wants VIP swag must purchase individual VIP ticket.
18 and over – Must have either a General Admission ticket or a VIP ticket. Will be provided swag based on ticket. Admission time will be based on ticket type acquired.
Are tickets refundable?
No. VIP tickets are non-refundable with the exception of the event being cancelled by Infinity Bound Book Services. Please see our Refunds and Returns Policy page for additional details.
Why only five hours for VIPs and three hours for General Admission?
Because we love our authors and vendors. While it is not a very long time for you, most authors travel from other places. They have to setup their tables/booths, and mentally prepare to be their best for you. VIPs get two extra hours exclusively with our authors. Then we give them an hour lunch break to reset and breath to spend the rest of the afternoon meeting you!
Is there a waitlist for authors/vendors?
No. Because we sell our tables and booths first come, first serve, when they sell out, they sell out. Should space become available, we will make an announcement via our mailing list. Be sure to sign up for the mailing list for event updates.
Am I allowed to resell my table?
No. At this time, because we offer refunds up to 30 days prior to the event, we do not allow this. Sorry for the inconvenience. This also helps keep marketing and promotional materials accurate for other attendees/authors/vendors.
Can I purchase only half a booth?
Not exactly. A booth purchase is for a 10 x 10 space. How many authors your fit in that space is your decision. You will list your Author/Booth Name on your purchase. Each booth comes with two badges for authors and four badges for vendors with an option to purchase additional badges. There will be one point of contact for the booth purchase. Infinity Bound Book Services will only communicate with the booth purchaser. It is the responsibility of the booth purchaser to coordinate with their booth mate.
Do you offer shipping to and from the show?
Yes!
To have your items shipped to Infinity Bound Book Services for the event, you only have to pay the shipping costs and we will deliver your boxes to your both.
At the end of the event, anything you want to ship home, you will be able to weigh and pay for shipping in our consignment store. We will charge you a small processing fee of $5.00 to deliver your boxes to the shipper and to cover shipping supply costs.
How does the consignment store work?
Sometimes authors cannot physically attend, but want to participate. To accommodate this, Infinity Bound Book Services offers a consignment store. You sign your books, ship them with a bookmark/business card/book plates, and we take a small percentage. The space in the store costs $25. This covers signage, shelving, and one box of shipped books returned to the author. Shipping of additional boxes will be billed to author. Then, Infinity Bound Book Services will take 15% commission of your sales. This covers taxes, credit card fees, and payout fees to you. We will provide a detailed contract for you to sign prior to the event.
Why can’t I buy vendor space as an author? Or an author space as a vendor?
Infinity Bound Book Services strives to be as fair as possible. While we appreciate authors want to be front and center for the attendees, we do not want to inadvertently show favoritism. All authors will be assigned tables inside the event space. Vendors will be assigned tables outside the event space. All spaces are indoors. While authors are not juried, vendors will be. The same goes for vendors. This is not a craft fair where we mix and match the booth spaces. This is a book signing event where your products compliment books.
What is the lunch menu for authors/vendors?
We will provide a boxed lunch option for authors. Prior to the event date we will confirm meal choices.
What about the influencers?
Infinity Bound Book Services loves influencers! We encourage you to attend. The only way to attend for free is to obtain a General Admission ticket. Authors may purchase influencers VIP tickets if they choose to. However, Infinity Bound Book Services is working to keep the costs low for authors and vendors, therefore we cannot provide free VIP tickets to influencers.
Wagons, Strollers, and Selfie Sticks
We allow it all of these items. Please be considerate of your fellow attendees, authors, and vendors. Infinity Bound Book Services reserves the right to remove disruptive equipment. This includes but is not limited to noise makers.
How are payments processed?
Infinity Bound Book Services processes all payments through PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to use this service. We can accept credit cards. All transactions are processed through the website to protect you and to protect Infinity Bound Book Services. We cannot accept checks at this time.
Will refreshments be provided at the event?
Infinity Bound Book Services will provide water at the event at no additional cost. No other snacks will be provided outside of swag bags.

Will there be a raffle?
No! But we will host a scavenger hunt.
Infinity Bound Book Services wants our readers to be in the room with the authors and vendors. Raffles draw readers away from tables. We will accept prizes for completed scavenger hunt cards and will distribute the prizes as attendees complete the card.
What the author/vendor requires to get the scavenger hunt sign off is up to the author/vendor.
Does Infinity Bound Book Services donate to any charities?
If any charitable events occur during the event Infinity Bound Book Services hosts, they will be clearly marketed with the event and financial contribution data will be provided.
